Participants will learn about the different types and methods of production of traditional Philippine sea salts with this lecture and guided tasting workshop. There will be a visual presentation to show the different production methods. The workshop will include a sampling of at least six different kinds of sea salts, as well as commercial salt, together with base ingredients such as dark chocolate, tomatoes, bread, and butter (depending on availability of ingredients). Participants will be given a worksheet on which they can note their observations. The workshop will be held by Bea Misa Crisostomo, an independent researcher and owner of specialty shop Ritual, who has been sourcing different Philippine sea salts for more than 12 years.

Para peserta akan belajar tentang berbagai jenis dan metode produksi garam laut Filipina dalam ceramah dan lokakarya pencicipan makanan ini, yang akan dilengkapi presentasi visual untuk menunjukkan masing-masing metode produksi.
