Cat Wheeler – Slow Food Bali

Canadian writer Cat Wheeler has lived in Bali since 2000. Granddaughter of a farmer and Co-founder of Slow Food Bali, she is deeply concerned about food security. Cat takes an interest in every aspect of Indonesia’s culinary culture, ranging from indigenous foods, traditional rice cultivation and herbal remedies to fine dining with a focus on locally produced ingredients.

Cat Wheeler adalah penulis asal Kanada yang telah hidup di Bali sejak tahun 2000. Cucu dari seorang petani dan juga Co-founder dari Slow Food Bali, ia sangat peduli akan ketahanan pangan di Indonesia. Cat tertarik akan segala aspek dari budaya kuliner Indonesia, dari makanan tradisional, budi daya beras, dan pengobatan herbal hingga fine dining yang berfokus kepada bahan makanan lokal.
