Elizabeth Yani Tararubi, fondly called Liz Flores, is the person behind Dapur Tara Flores, a kitchen, garden, and community dining room in Lembah Pesari, Melo Village NTT. Dapur Tara specialises in transforming ingredients from the garden into local Flores dishes using traditional cooking techniques. The culinary tradition of Flores celebrates the role of the garden. In Liz’s kitchen, cooking is not just about producing delicious food but about building a relationship between humans and what they eat.

Elizabeth Yani Tararubi, yang disapa akrab Liz Flores, adalah orang di balik Dapur Tara Flores, sebuah dapur, taman, dan ruang makan komunitas di Lembah Pesari, Desa Melo, NTT. Dapur Tara mengkhususkan diri dalam mengubah bahan-bahan dari kebun menjadi hidangan lokal Flores menggunakan teknik memasak tradisional. Tradisi kuliner Flores menghargai peran kebun, dan di dapur Liz, memasak bukan hanya tentang menghasilkan makanan lezat tetapi juga membangun hubungan antara manusia dan apa yang mereka makan.
