Marcela Arango

Colombian chef, Marcela Arango co-owns the restaurant El Pantera Taquería with her husband, where you can experience perfectly cooked taquitos, pork and monkfish with flavoursome margaritas, Marcela’s childhood in the Caribbean influenced her flavors and cooking style. El Ciervo y el Oso, was her early restaurant project which became a renowned Bogotá restaurant celebrating Colombian cuisine and local produce. Last year, she participated in training and recipe creation consultancy for the Tourist Routes through the Forests and Peace, collaborating with communities on biodiversity in cooking, alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and UK PACT in Colombian territory.
