Mary Jane Edleson

Culinary Educator

Mary Jane Edleson is a culinary educator, organic gardener, author, and artist who has lived and worked in Jakarta, Bali, and Singapore over the past 40 years. She did post-graduate Asian studies, and holds a Master of Fine Arts. She is a certified chef and instructor in “living food” and served as Convivium Leader for Slow Food Bali for many years. Mary Jane’s main life passion is the study of food and its relationship to local culture.

Mary Jane Edleson adalah seorang pendidik kuliner, tukang kebun organik, penulis, dan seniman yang telah tinggal dan bekerja di Jakarta, Bali, dan Singapura selama 40 tahun terakhir. Dia menempuh pendidikan pasca sarjana dalam studi Asia dan meraih gelar Master of Fine Arts. Dia adalah koki bersertifikat dan instruktur dalam “makanan hidup”, dan pernah menjabat sebagai Pemimpin Convivium Slow Food Bali selama bertahun-tahun. Gairah hidup utama Mary Jane adalah mempelajari makanan dan hubungannya dengan budaya lokal.
