Pande Nyoman Darta

Warung Nasi Tekor

Growing up with 8 siblings in a small town in Denpasar, cooking was a way of life for Pak Darta’s family. Darta was inspired to cook by his grandmother, who ran a Balinese-stall warung and cooked for the family. Originally from Bali, Pande “Pekak” Darta put aside his passion for cooking to work in hospitality for over 30 years. In his retirement, together with his spouse Ibu Siwi, Darta started Warung Nasi Tekor in 2015 at Desa Budaya Kertalangu Denpasar.
