Petty Elliott

Petty Pandean-Elliott is an internationally acclaimed Indonesian chef, food writer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She served as a judge for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Publishing house, Phaidon Press, released a book in 2018 titled Where Chefs Eat which featured her. 

As an ethnic Manadonese from North Sulawesi, Elliott is known for her innovative fusions between the spicy-hot Manadonese cuisine with European foods. Her 2016 book, Jakarta Bites: Exploring Vibrant Street Food from the Heart of Indonesia, won the prestigious 2017 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in the street food category. Her new book, The Indonesian Table, is out in 2023 via Phaidon Press, and it takes readers on a culinary journey across Indonesia, drawing from her personal experiences.

Ia adalah juri untuk Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants dan World’s 50 Best Restaurants pada tahun 2016 dan 2017. Buku Where Chefs Eat terbitan Phaidon tahun 2018 juga menampilkan sosoknya.

Seorang etnis Manado dari Sulawesi Utara, Elliott dikenal untuk menu fusion yang menggabungkan makanan Manado yang pedas dan berbumbu dengan makanan Eropa.
