Ray Adriansyah

Locavore

Born in Jakarta to Sumatran parents, Ray Adriansyah grew up with a deep interest in traditional and international cuisines. While studying at business school in New Zealand, he decided to make the switch to cooking. After graduating from culinary school in Christchurch, Ray returned to Jakarta and began work as Sous Chef under Eelke Plasmeijer. Ray and Eelke are now business partners and run Locavore together.

Lahir di Jakarta dari orang tua Sumatra, Ray Adriansyah tumbuh dengan minat yang mendalam pada masakan tradisional dan internasional. Saat belajar di sekolah bisnis di Selandia Baru, ia memutuskan untuk beralih ke memasak. Setelah lulus dari sekolah kuliner di Christchurch, Ray kembali ke Jakarta dan mulai bekerja sebagai Sous Chef di bawah Eelke Plasmeijer. Ray dan Eelke sekarang menjadi mitra bisnis dan menjalankan Locavore bersama.
