With extensive experience in Michelin Starred restaurants throughout Southeast Asia and training from Republic Polytechnic Singapore, Val brings his unique culinary flair to SKOOL Kitchen as the Executive Chef. Val actively contributes to the operations and development of all TB Group’s venues, including The Lawn Canggu and Times Beach Warung. His mission is to bring about an unparalleled hospitality experience that’s reflective of a lifestyle that honours the surf, music, and tribal cultures and the refreshingly new and exciting intersection where high cuisine and laid-back culture meet. Previously, Val held key positions in Singapore’s two-Michelin starred Relais & Châteaux Saint Pierre and three Michelin-starred Odette Restaurant, along with Hong Kong’s Seasons Restaurant and Bali’s Viceroy Resorts.
