Flores Island is blessed with natural ecosystem and naturally grown ingredients that are rich of intense flavors. Meet Liz and Delvi who will show case the wonderful flavor of Flores ingredients. Liz (Dapur Tara) will cook up some local favorites that include Flores-style lawar with banana blossom and lemongrass sambal with young pineapple and paddy chillies (Flores typical tiny chili yet dangerously hot).

Delvi Addelia will showcase how Sekolah Seniman Pangan works on zero-waste approach in transforming local ingredients to become gourmet products as well as delectable dish and drinks, while also practicing the sustainability values. Sekolah Seniman Pangan (School of Food Artisans) is an action-based food entrepreneurship program and ecosystem founded in 2017 by Helianti Hilman and supported by Javara Indonesia. Seniman Pangan nurtures entrepreneurial capacity among rural youth, women & indigenous community to enable the growth of creative sustainable rural businesses that are build based on the uses of local biodiversity and indigenous food culture. Currently the school is opening its branch in Labuan Bajo, Flores.

Pulau Flores diberkati dengan ekosistem dan bahan-bahan alami yang kaya akan rasa yang kuat. Temui Liz dan Delvi yang akan menunjukkan indahnya rasa dari bahan-bahan khas Flores. Liz (Dapur Tara) akan memasak makanan favorit lokal yang mencakup lawar ala Flores dengan bunga pisang dan sambal serai dengan nanas muda dan cabai rawit (cabai kecil khas Flores namun sangat pedas).

Delvi Addelia akan menampilkan bagaimana Sekolah Seniman Pangan bekerja dengan pendekatan zero-waste dalam mengubah bahan-bahan lokal menjadi produk gourmet serta hidangan dan minuman yang lezat, sambil juga mempraktikkan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan. Sekolah Seniman Pangan adalah program dan ekosistem kewirausahaan pangan berbasis aksi yang didirikan pada tahun 2017 oleh Helianti Hilman dan didukung oleh Javara Indonesia. Seniman Pangan memupuk kapasitas kewirausahaan di kalangan pemuda pedesaan, perempuan & masyarakat adat untuk memungkinkan pertumbuhan bisnis pedesaan kreatif yang berkelanjutan yang dibangun berdasarkan pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati lokal dan budaya pangan asli. Saat ini sekolah tersebut membuka cabangnya di Labuan Bajo, Flores.
