Achmad Subagio is a lecturer at East Java’s Jember University’s Agricultural Technology School. Known as the ‘Cassava Man’, his research studies mainly focus on optimising cassava farming techniques to improve the farmers’ welfare and quality of life. The common threads binding his research studies is the exploration of regenerative farming strategies, and the socioeconomic profiles of farmers and their correlation with food resilience.
