Amanda Katili Niode is a certified executive coach and mentor on climate and environmental sustainability issues. She is the Manager of the Climate Reality Project Indonesia, and the Co-Founder and Chairwoman of the Omar Niode Foundation. The foundation seeks to educate the public on sustainable agriculture and food systems involving the agriculture, food and culinary stakeholders which include the government, the private sector, and the civil society. She was previously the Head of the Expert Team at the Executive Office of the Indonesian President’s Special Envoy for Climate Change in Indonesia, as well as the former special assistant to the environment minister. She’s also been Indonesia’s delegation to the Conference of Parties of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change. She holds a PhD from the School of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, the US.
Amanda Katili-Niode memiliki sertifikasi sebagai seorang pelatih eksekutif untuk isu-isu iklim dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Ia adalah manajer Climate Reality Project Indonesia, serta pendiri dan ketua Omar Niode Foundation, sebuah yayasan yang bertujuan untuk mendidik masyarakat mengenai pertanian dan sistem pangan berkelanjutan yang melibatkan pemerintah, sektor swasta dan gerakan masyarakat sipil. Sebelumnya ia menjabat sebagai Kepala Tim Pakar untuk Utusan Khusus Masalah Perubahan Iklim Kantor Staf Presiden Indonesia, sekaligus mantan asisten khusus untuk Menteri Lingkungan. Ia juga pernah menjadi delegasi Indonesia untuk Konferensi Para Pihak dalam Kerangka Kerja Konvensi Perubahan Iklim PBB. Ia mendapatkan gelar Doktoralnya dari Fakultas Sumber Daya Alam dan Lingkungan, Universitas Michigan, Ann Arbor, Amerika Serikat.
