Nirartha Bas Diwangkara

Nirartha Bas Diwangkara is a filmmaker based in Denpasar city. His debut film, Tergila-gila (Insanely Infatuated With Someone At The Most Inappropriate Time), won the 2019 Bali Jani Festival and was featured in the 2019 S-Express Indonesia exchange program. Thanks to the exchange program, this film has been screened at various film festivals across Southeast Asia, such as the Thai Film and Video Festival, SEA Short and Minikino Film Week, as well as the 2022 Bogoshorts film festival in Bogota, Colombia. In addition to making fiction films, Nirartha has also worked on animations and documentary films. As a producer, he has produced short documentary films, short fiction films, and written works of fiction and nonfiction, including a culinary book called Jangkep – The Legacy of Bali Flavors. Nirartha is the recipient of the Community College Initiative Program from the United States Education Ministry.

Nirartha Bas Diwangkara adalah filmmaker berbasis di kota Denpasar dan film debutnya sebagai sutradara dan penulis, Tergila – Gila, telah memenangkan Festival Bali Jani 2019, masuk kedalam program pertukaran S-Express Indonesia 2019 yang membuat filmnya diputar di Asia Tenggara seperti Thai Film and Video Festival, SEA Short, Minikino Film Week, hingga diputar di Bogoshorts 2022 di Bogota, Colombia. Selain fiksi, Nirartha membuat film animasi dan dokumenter.Sebagai produser, Nirartha telah menghasilkan produksi film dokumenter pendek, fiksi pendek dan serial web serta buku kuliner Bali berjudul Warisan Cita Rasa Bali (Jangkep – The Legacy of Bali Flavours). Nirartha adalah penerima Community College Initiative Program dari Kementerian Pendidikan Amerika Serikat.
