Victor Taborda

Argentinian chef Victor Taborda spent his childhood helping his grandpa working at their family steakhouse, while immersing himself in the Argentinian Asado grilling technique. In no time, he started to prepare food for his siblings, proving that Asado is in his blood. At the same time, he loved helping his grandma creating empanadas. He studied in the Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia culinary school in Buenos Aires. Through several courses and apprenticeships, Victor found he enjoyed the “harshness” of the culinary world and decided to be a chef. He worked alongside Dani Garcia, a three-Michelin starred chef in Tragabuches Restaurant in Malaga. He also worked as an executive chef in the Ritz Carlton Marbella’s La Veranda Restaurant, both located in Spain. He also worked in Bali for a bit. Since 2019, he’s been working as the executive chef of Sudestada Jakarta, to share his love for Argentinian food with the city’s hungry foodies.

Chef Argentina Victor Taborda menghabiskan masa kecilnya membantu sang kakek bekerja di steakhouse keluarga mereka, sembari menyelami teknik memanggang Asado khas Argentina. Tidak lama kemudian, ia mulai bertanggung jawab membuat makanan bagi saudara-saudaranya, membuktikan bahwa Asado mengalir dalam darahnya Ia belajar di sekolah kuliner Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia di Buenos Aires. Ia juga bekerja sebagai executive chef di La Veranda Restaurant milik Ritz Carlton Marbella di Spanyol. Ia juga sempat bekerja di Bali. Sejak 2019, ia bekerja sebagai executive chef Sudestada Jakarta, membagikan kecintaannya akan makanan Argentina untuk memuaskan rasa lapar para pecinta makanan di kota tersebut.
