Amanda Katili

Amanda Katili Niode is the Chair of the Omar Niode Foundation, a nonprofit promoting awareness of Indonesian agriculture, food, and culinary culture. She also serves as Director of The Climate Reality Project Indonesia, leading over 1,200 volunteers in mainstreaming climate awareness and action across the country. Amanda holds a Food & Climate Shaper certificate from the Future Food Institute and FAO. She has contributed to and edited award-winning publications such as Comfort Food Memoirs, which won a 2024 Gourmand World Cookbook Award. Her essays also appear in Contemporary Advances in Food Tourism (Routledge, 2023) and the forthcoming Food and Beverage Tourism on Islands (Edward Elgar, 2025). She holds a PhD from the School of Environment and Sustainability, USA, and actively writes on climate, food, and sustainability.

Amanda Katili Niode adalah Ketua Omar Niode Foundation, lembaga nirlaba yang mempromosikan kesadaran akan pertanian, pangan, dan budaya kuliner Indonesia. Ia juga menjabat sebagai Direktur Climate Reality Project Indonesia, yang memimpin lebih dari 1.200 sukarelawan dalam mengarusutamakan isu dan aksi iklim di seluruh negeri. Amanda memiliki sertifikat Food & Climate Shaper dari Future Food Institute dan FAO.
