When a forest disappears, it doesn’t just take the trees. It takes the flavors, the remedies, the recipes that never got written down. In this panel, Indonesian culinary conservationist Helianti Hilman sits down with the women of Jamuan Puan Rimba, whose lives have been shaped by land, memory, and survival. As ecosystems change, so does everything tied to them. These are the voices that get forgotten first and the ones we can least afford to lose.
