Casey Dixon

Casey is an Australian brewer and engineer who co-founded Bale Nagi Brewing with his wife, Martha. He brings technical expertise in brewing systems, process engineering, and fermentation science to the development of craft beer in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and with hands-on experience in brewery operations and equipment design, he leads product development, quality control, and technical innovation. His work focuses on adapting brewing methods to local ingredients and indigenous knowledge systems, from experimenting with regional grains such as sorghum to designing efficient systems suited to emerging craft beer environments in Eastern Indonesia. Working closely with farmers and local partners, Casey combines scientific rigour with practical problem-solving to build a resilient, locally grounded brewing practice, and is passionate about knowledge transfer, technical training, and developing sustainable brewing infrastructure in regions where the craft beer industry is still emerging.

Ia membawa keahlian teknis dalam sistem brewing dan fermentasi untuk mengembangkan craft beer di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Dengan pengalaman langsung di operasional brewery dan perancangan alat, ia memimpin pengembangan produk, menjaga kualitas, serta mendorong inovasi teknis. Ia juga berfokus menyesuaikan metode brewing dengan bahan lokal dan pengetahuan setempat, termasuk bereksperimen dengan bahan seperti sorgum dan merancang sistem yang efisien untuk kondisi di Indonesia Timur.
