Hardian Eko Nurseto

Hardian Eko Nurseto, known as Seto, is an Indonesian food anthropologist and lecturer at the Department of Anthropology, Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, where he teaches “Food and Culture.” His work examines the links between food, identity, ethnicity, religion and everyday social life in Indonesian communities. Seto is the co-founder of Parti Gastronomi, a collective documenting Indonesia’s gastronomic heritage, including the project Delicious Rot, which explores eight Indonesian fermented foods through a book and documentary film. He also initiated the Bandung Foodtruck Community and works as an Associate Expert Trainer for Sekolah Seniman Pangan.
