Nara Iswara is the Demi Chef de Partie at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. With six years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Nara’s journey began in high school, followed by a one-year program in food and beverage. He started his professional career in 2018 as a culinary intern and steadily rose through the ranks to become a commis. Along the way, he has earned several accolades, including a Silver Medal in the Hot Cooking Fish category at the Bali Salon Culinaire and the title of Indonesia’s winner of the Young Talents Escoffier 2024 competition — a milestone that also marks his step forward on the ASEAN stage. Now, Nara is preparing to represent Indonesia at the World Finals in October 2025.
