Dr Ir. Pande Ketut DiahKencana, MS is a Balinese food technologist, researcher, and bamboo advocate whose work has focused on sustainable food systems and bamboo-based food innovation for more than three decades. A retired lecturer from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Udayana University, she specialises in post-harvest technology and the development of bamboo shoot products for food. Through extensive training, farmer mentorship, and community-based programmes across Bali, Lombok, Java, and beyond, she has championed bamboo as both a food resource and an environmental solution. Her contributions have earned national recognition, including awards from KEHATI and Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture.
Dr. Ir. Pande Ketut Diah Kencana, MS adalah ahli teknologi pangan, peneliti, dan pemerhati bambu asal Bali yang selama lebih dari 30 tahun menekuni pengembangan pangan berkelanjutan dan inovasi makanan berbahan dasar bambu. Sebagai dosen purnabakti Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian Universitas Udayana, ia memiliki keahlian di bidang teknologi pascapanen dan pengolahan rebung sebagai bahan pangan. Melalui berbagai pelatihan, pendampingan petani, dan program komunitas di Bali, Lombok, Jawa, dan berbagai daerah lainnya, ia terus mendorong pemanfaatan bambu sebagai sumber pangan sekaligus solusi bagi lingkungan. Dedikasinya telah mendapat berbagai penghargaan nasional, termasuk dari KEHATI dan Kementerian Pertanian Indonesia.
