Sarah Gekeler is a former student of Anthropology and Co-founder of Amar Khamar. Originally from Germany, she has been instrumental in driving the organisation forward with her focus on the cultural, social, and environmental dimensions of why we eat what we eat. Beyond guiding Amar Khamar’s communications and aesthetic identity, she has travelled extensively across geographies, meeting farming communities and uncovering the finer nuances of food’s story. Sarah currently divides her time between Kolkata and Stuttgart.
