Shinta Palupi is an agriculture researcher at Astungkara Way, a Bali-based social enterprise that combines regenerative farming and tourism to promote environmental sustainability from the local to the global level. Her focus is on sustainable agriculture, and she’s committed to bridging the gap between scientific research and the everyday realities of farming. Shinta joined the team about six months ago after completing her studies at Wageningen University. She believes that meaningful change begins with listening and collaboration, and sees her role as a connector, translating complex research into insights that make sense within the context of farmers’ lived experiences, so useful ideas can be applied in real, practical ways.
