Wayan Wardika is an Balinese conservationist, regenerative farmer, and Founder of Bring Back The Light, a community-led firefly conservation initiative rooted in the ancestral village of Taro. Raised within the living traditions of Desa Adat Taro, his work bridges ecological restoration, indigenous knowledge, scientific experimentation, and immersive eco-tourism, all in service of protecting one of nature’s most fragile and luminous species.
