Volunteer Team

Do you have an interest in food, cooking and the hospitality industry? Do you enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures? Do you enjoy the challenge on working on a world-class event with a team of dedicated volunteers?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should register to become an Ubud Food Festival volunteer.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated team of Indonesian food enthusiasts with strong English-language skills to join our team.

Please note that we can only accept up to 60 volunteers this year.

Volunteering at the Ubud Food Festival:

Volunteers play an integral role in helping make the Ubud Food Festival such an enjoyable event. In recognition of this, we ensure that our volunteers have:

  • All the right information at the right time
  • The ability to work in areas that are of interest to them
  • The support and guidance of an experienced supervisor
  • The ability to meet with each other and their supervisors at the Volunteer
  • Orientation Day on 25 May.
  • Access to special facilities, including the Volunteer Base Camp.

How to become a volunteer:

We are currently accepting applications for 2016 volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer with the Ubud Food Festival, please first read the detailed information provided in our volunteering Fact Sheet.

Then, visit our Volunteer Registration form and fill out the relevant information. After you have sent the registration form, please wait for our email confirmation.

Successful applicants will be notified by email in mid-April, with Festival schedules provided in early May.

Please note that we need you to be very flexible in term of your schedule prior to or during the Festival, and that volunteer shifts will be 3 x 5 hours. All volunteers also must be available to attend the Volunteer Orientation on 25 May. If you cannot attend, you cannot volunteer.
