Four Hands. One table. A cuisine shaped by the forest. At the heart of this luncheon are the women defenders of Indonesia’s forests, farmers, foragers, seed keepers and guardians of ancestral knowledge. Representing communities from South Sumatera, Kalimantan and West Nusa Tenggara, Jamuan Puan Rimba carries generations of wisdom on wild foods, fire, healing herbs and the fragile ecosystems that sustain them. Their hands, stories and resilience form the soul of this table. Joining them are are Helianti Hilman of Javara, Indonesia’s leading voice in biodiversity and food sovereignty; Agus Hermawan, the Amsterdam-based Indonesian chef reframing his homeland for the world; Bambu Indah’s own Chef Aaron Lumakeki, whose kitchen shares the same philosophy: that food is memory, land is sacred, and cooking is an act of preservation. Set around a communal table overlooking a lush organic garden, the afternoon unfolds through bold flavours, ancient rhythms and local tonics. River fish meets flame. Jungle greens and wild herbs reveal forgotten landscapes. Chili lingers long after the last bite. This is more than a meal. It is a tribute to the women who protect the forest, and the knowledge that still grows within it.
Come hungry. Leave transformed. Seats are limited.
The price is subject to around 21% tax, along with a 4% Chope booking fee.
Empat tangan. Satu meja makan.
