Will Goldfarb

Will Goldfarb is an Indonesia-based American pastry chef, who was named The World’s Best Pastry Chef in Cacao Barry’s The World’s Best 50 Restaurants 2021. Amidst the pandemic battle, Chef Will and his enduringly resilient dessert bar, Room4Dessert, persisted. The quest for meaning and knowledge in the medicinal herbs garden transformed into a micro Forest. Local wisdom, in turn, was shared with the community through generous family meals. Reflective time overflowed with the launch of The Powder Room. In 2023, more adventures and blue skies unfolded with the development of the test kitchen and a new edition of the R4D Academy. He featured on Chef’s Table, Season 4, capping a delightfully unexpected 2018, which also marked the release of his first book, Room For Dessert, published in swinging style by Phaidon. He previously experienced a breakthrough at the original R4D in NYC in 2005, following years of training at El Bulli in Roses, Cibreo in Firenze, and Gerard Mulot in Paris.
